AAR Mentors Gather for Coffee and Breakfast at First Mentor Network Event

The PAUSD district office was bustling the morning of Tuesday, August 23. Over 30 mentors gathered to meet with AAR teachers and program staff over coffee, bacon, eggs, hash browns, and fresh fruit.

This event offered mentors the opportunity to connect with one another and to ask any questions they may have in preparation for the 2017-18 AAR program. A version of the mentor orientation webinar was featured, which had been converted to video and given narration by Ed Corpuz’s video production students at Gunn HS. Several student projects from 2016-17 were on display, and AAR staff were on hand to answer questions and distribute copies of the Mentor Handbook.
