The availability of diverse children's literature in Palo Alto libraries and its impact on children's mindsets. The problem at hand is the insufficient diversity in children's books, leading to stereotypes and racial biases. The research questions focus on the accessibility of diverse literature in Palo Alto libraries. The research design involves examining the quantity of diverse literature and promotional efforts in children's libraries. To address potential harm, acknowledgment is given to the inconvenience and social harm due to limited access, with an assurance of confidentiality for participants. The study aims to contribute to raising awareness among teachers and the community about the importance of diverse literature for children's growth mindsets.
