Can women living with HIV successfully carry a HIV negative baby to term? What variables affect the outcome?
Summary
The goal of this research project is to study the development of medications that help women who are infected with HIV to be able to have healthy non-HIV infected babies. We plan to use statistics and first-hand accounts to deepen our understanding of perinatal transmission and its prevention.
