Summary

Through conducting an observational study, this project looks at how the amount of sleep a teenager receives affects their mood. This study will use a sample size of roughly fifteen students ages 14-18 from the Palo Alto Unified School District community; questions will ask them to record their amount of sleep followed by a daily mood survey. The moods that will be analyzed include concentration, impulsivity, irritability, sadness/depression, and happiness.
