Summary

Although everyone has the right to access healthcare and steps have been made to make it easier to obtain for all citizens, millions of people still lack insurance. Health insurance is an extremely important thing to have, and could make it possible for people to get care when they need it without putting the financial burden onto themself or their families if the only option they have is to pay out of pocket. Free clinics do exist, but with limited hours during the day, people may be stuck at work and not have an opportunity to go in for care, or not have a method of transportation to get to one. By making a volunteer pathway within a free clinic, as well as educating people about the financial aid and support systems that are available to them, more people may get care.
