Summary

In the US there is an average of over 3.8 million sports related concussions a year (CDC 2007). Concussions do not just affect you on the field but will affect your well-being in the classroom too. If not given the right treatment or accomodations, students will be at a major disadvantage in school. Concussions can cause individuals to be more distracted, tired, suffer headaches and even have a hard time just understanding the school work. This project will analyze whether athletes with major brain injuries/concussions impact school performance and what exactly we can do about it.
