Summary
The pressing issue of inadequate housing for teachers in the Palo Alto Unified School District. The rationale behind this study is the detrimental impact on the school district due to teacher shortages caused by unreasonable living conditions. The purpose is to assess the barriers teachers face in securing affordable housing near their workplace. To achieve this, I will employ a Needs Assessment approach using a combination of surveys, databases, and media for data collection. The study anticipates providing valuable insights into the challenges faced by teachers and aims to contribute to education, urban planning, and real estate development knowledge. The research also seeks to raise community awareness and potentially drive action toward creating more affordable housing.
