Imapct of New PMTA Regulation Policies on Tobacco Industry Marketing Strategies

PMTA Regulations serve as gateways. They authorize a tobacco product to be on the market, considering factors like advertising and marketing as a whole. In the wake of new PMTA Regulations, tobacco companies likely will change the way they advertise in order to be authorized. The goal of this study is to highlight those changes by comparing product advertising before and after this year’s PMTA Regulations. The study will highlight some themes of the study and hopefully consider why such changes happened.
